Through a generous family donation, AVPRIDE is honored to bring back the Taylor Noelle Conigland Scholarship—a heartfelt tribute to a young woman who embodied passion, creativity, and community spirit.
Taylor was the youngest and most spirited member of her family. A talented athlete, she thrived on the dance team and soccer field, and also had a deep love for reading, poetry, and music. She played the flute and traveled to the London Day Parade with the Fayette County High School Marching Band, where she served proudly as the enthusiastic band mascot.
Taylor was a valued participant in AVPRIDE’s Fayette Youth Leaders PRIDE (FYLP, now SAYA) program. Her legacy lives on through this scholarship, which celebrates the qualities she lived by—creativity, service, fearlessness, and resilience.
We’re seeking Fayette County high school seniors who showcase creativity in their academics and in the fine arts—including visual arts, dance, music, spoken word, and theater.
Resilience – Overcoming adversity
Fearlessness – Showing persistence in the face of challenges
Service – Giving back to the community
Creativity – Excelling in academics or the arts (Taylor was both a poet and performer)
Your creativity could help support your academic journey with a $500 scholarship.
A heartfelt essay
A powerful poem
A compelling performance video
Application Deadline: April 30, 2025
