Substance Abuse Prevention Programs

AVPRIDE believes healthy families contribute to resilient youth. For this reason, AVPRIDE has spearheaded substance abuse prevention activities for nearly 20 years in Fayette & Coweta Counties.

At the same time, we all have to be wary of potential risks. Substance abuse can be one of those factors that threaten the livelihood and potential of our emerging leaders.

AVPRIDE chooses to face that threat head on by administering federal grants that address issues in our community. AVPRIDE has been awarded multiple contracts through the Georgia Department of Health & Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) to examine and address underage drinking in our community. AVPRIDE is also proud to partner with Fayette FACTOR in this effort.
