Alcohol Prevention Project

AVPRIDE believes that Fayette County does a wonderful job of creating a positive environment for youth to grow and develop.

At the same time, we all have to be wary of potential risks. Substance abuse can be one of those factors that threaten the livelihood and potential of our emerging leaders.

AVPRIDE chooses to face that threat head on by administering federal grants that address issues in our community. AVPRIDE has been awarded multiple contracts through the Georgia Department of Health & Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) to examine and address underage drinking in our community.  AVPRIDE is also proud to partner with Fayette FACTOR in this effort.
