In the fall of 1996, a diverse group of Fayette County residents united with a common goal: to empower local children to thrive in a rapidly evolving global economy. This initiative sparked vital questions:
- What skills and qualities must our children develop to excel in the 21st century?
- How can parents, educators, and the community work together to provide the support needed for success in both academic and social arenas?
Through analyzing local data on students from multicultural backgrounds, AVPRIDE recognized the importance of collaboration to achieve its mission effectively.
